A Rush-Critical Hours

A weekend is a day that everyone is waiting for. It is the perfect time to chill out, hang out with friends, and gather with family. I planned to start my morning exercise on Sunday morning after a two-month break. Besides, for the past three weeks, I felt guilty to my tummy for feeding it with a lot of junk food. I thought my weekend would be perfect, but I never realized there was one thing that makes my weekend a little bit messy.       On Saturday morning, I already prepared myself with three Indonesian dishes I made with my friends for the potluck party. I went to my Polish friends' place around 2 p.m. The party ended at around 6.30 p.m. and I got a text from another friend, Tsarah,  that she would come to my apartment. I was so excited since it had been three weeks since she came to my place. I went home before the time she said to me and decided to have moccachino with Hesti and Mutia. At 8.30 p.m. Tsarah arrived. Life and Death Experience (Part 2)

I ever lived in another part of Indonesia, West Borneo, when I was a child. I lived for five years since my father, he is an army, was transferred there. There are many things happened at that time, started from my experience saw the 'ghost', spent all the money my mom gave to me that supposed to be the money for buying a vegetable, and my experience in almost died because of my friend.      I lived in an army dormitory and my neighbours came from many areas from all over Indonesia. I still remember that my house was located near the street and had a little ditch with some plants next to the ditch. Every afternoon, around 3-4 p.m., it was a common thing that the mothers accompanied their children playing around near our house. While their children played around, the mothers talked and shared their own story about the household world or sometimes gossipping the other neighbourhood. I had many friends either they were from the same age or the o...

For me who cannot use contact lens, the answer is glasses.  Most of the people will always wear their glasses even when they walk. In my case, I am not that typical. I only wear my glasses whenever I have to read books, work with my laptop and cell phone, and to see the blackboard as well as the monitor in the class. I know that is a bad habit, but I just do not want to rely on my glasses, yet I do not really like to wear it. My mom always quarrelsome if I do not wear my glass regularly. Whenever she knows that I do not wear it, she would mumble for at least an hour.       Although I do not like to wear that, the fact is I have been wearing this glasses since I was in second grade of my senior high school. The terrible thing, besides the amount of my myopia that is increasing every year, is when my glasses broke. It is either the frame or the lens come out from the ...
