Paula - A Girl Who Loves Chen

Gambar
Looking back to the first day I met Paula was hilarious and coincidental as well. I was about to come to Mutia after class. She texted me that she sat in front of the Aulario . When I came to her, there was another girl next to her. I did not expect that both Mutia and Paula already knew each other. I knew after she told me that that girl also likes K-Pop the same as me.       I amazed to hear that statement because I could not believe that I could meet a Spanish girl who likes K-Pop. Then, we introduced ourselves to each other. I turned out knowing her in the same major as me, which is English, but she took English Philology. Also, I asked her favourite idol group in K-Pop and her favourite members. She likes EXO, which also my one of my favourites boy group. The moment she mentioned she is an EXO-L, I was so freaking happy and shook her hand. We are in the same fandom and it feels like I have found another non-biological sister. Even tho...

Airport Drama; The Beginning of 'Princess Doha'

One of my excitements, after I knew I am accepted in Erasmus, would be the feeling of boarding abroad. I had never been in an international flight's departure terminal before. My longest boarding was only two hours and yet it still domestic flight. Once I got the ticket to Madrid, I was happy because that would be my first time. I checked back my ticket and my trip would transit for an hour forty-five minutes in Doha International Airport.    Before I departed, I asked my friend, Mutia - who had been experienced in international flight before, whether it would be enough for us to pass all the security posts in within a short time. She said it would be fine as long as we did it quickly. To shorten the story, I arrived in Doha around 12 am and the next flight would be an hour after. The line for security check-in was not long and I passed it quickly. After passing the security post, my friends and I could see many people with the same destination as us, Madrid, sti...

A Tough Monday

Another critical-rush hour happened on Monday. I just went back from Andalucia trip to Granada and Cordoba. I arrived in Murcia around midnight and I planned to sleep directly after I came to my apartment. It was so tiring trip because, before Andalucia trip, I went to Italy. Moreover, the night before going Cordoba, I did not sleep at all. Contrast with Hesti, she would do phonology transcription for the next day before she went to sleep. I already did that before I went to Cordoba.       I set the alarm at 6 am and went to sleep. I woke up and checked the sky was still dark. I opened my phone and it was still 4 am. I continued my sleep because I thought I still had two hours more before six. Suddenly, I woke up again and it was already 8 am. Meanwhile, my class started around 9 am. I am a typical person that hate for being late and also it is only several times I do not take a bath before going to class. But because the time was already ...

What is wrong with my phone?

When I left my country and would start live in Murcia, there was one my mom advice she gave to me. It was to keep in touch and try to reply to her message as soon as possible. Thus, on the third day of my living in Murcia, I went to one of the department stores that sell some phone cards from different companies.      Everything was run very well until I stopped to recharge my phone. I did that because I thought mobile data was no longer necessary for me, because I mostly use wifi, either in public, campus, and my apartment. Then, a week ago, I came again to the store to recharge my card because the day I would go to Italy was coming closer. Clearly, I would need the data to keep in contact with my family when I travel around out of Spain. The first disaster came at that time.      I only purchased for five euros, but when I activated the mobile data, it wouldn't work. The network appeared and disappeared like in the blink of t...
